We welcome all who are interested in sailing, rowing or the other activities of the club.
The joining process is easy. Print off the Membership Application form from this website and fill in the required details. Introduce yourself to a couple of our members and persuade them to countersign your application (proposer and seconder must be full members of the club – we are all very friendly and approachable). Then send the form back to the Membership Secretary – email is preferred but a postal address is also shown on the application form. There is currently no joining fee.
Once your application has been accepted, the Membership Secretary will send you a confirmation e-mail advising you of the fees due. When we have received payment, you will be able to enjoy all the facilities of that class of membership.

Fees are paid annually from the 1st January.
Members joining the Club after 31st July receive a 50% discount on their first year’s membership fee. Members joining after 31st October pay the full annual fee and this then includes payment for the following year.
Categories of Membership
1. Single Member – provides full sailing and membership rights to an individual who is over the age of eighteen.
2. Family Member – provides full sailing and membership rights for two adults .
3. Community member – has no membership rights but are kept informed of club events and may take part in club events provided they are accompanied by a single of family member.
Full membership includes children under the age of 18 to whom they are parent or guardian. Children must be accompanied by their parent or guardian when at the club.
Members berthing
Annual Berthing Fee information available on submission of membership application with details of boat to be stored at the Club. Berthing is subject to space limitations at the club grounds.
Note berthing is only available to full members and at present there is a maximum boat length of 6m.
Larger boats are constrained by site and river access. Large boats are generally launched at the slipway at Cowey Sale near to Walton bridge.
